a bit more about

My story

From painting on the back of construction plans as a young girl, sewing my high school graduation dress, to eventually earning a Studio Arts degree, I have always loved being creative! After graduating from college and working at a surface design firm for a few years, I was looking for something that would allow me greater flexibility and creativity. My search led me to learn Adobe Illustrator, and along the way, I fell in love with repetition and pattern.

I love how I can draw one motif at a time and then weave them together to create something new and exciting. Color, detail and curation have always been my strengths, so moving into surface pattern design felt like a natural transition. My designs have sold on fabric, wallpaper, and products through my Spoonflower and Society 6 shops. I have also had the privilege of working with clients on design projects, leading coaching calls with fellow creatives, and working on the support team for Bonnie Christine’s Surface Design Immersion course. The last few years have been the most creatively fulfilling of my life, and I am so grateful!

In my spare time, I love gardening, hiking, playing board games, spending time with friends and family, and listening to podcasts.
